Fast Desk Calibration
Resets built for you alone, and four months to make them part of your day.
A private protocol with me. You start with a detailed form. I build your blueprint from your answers. Then eight weekly calls to learn eight resets made for you, and eight more weeks to make them stick, with support shaped around how you work best.
"She really took the time to listen to my struggles and came up with a simple, tailored technique for me."
Uzma Abu Baker

Every tip you've tried was written for somebody else.
The breathing app wants ten minutes at 6 a.m. The stretch video assumes you have floor space and nobody calling. The podcast says take a walk. You have a client call in four minutes and your mother on the other line.
You've picked up a few things that help. You remember them on Sunday. By Tuesday at two o'clock they're gone, because the day moves faster than you can remember what's supposed to help.
So the tension stays where it always lands. Your jaw sets by noon. Your shoulders climb during the third meeting and don't come down. You keep going. You're very good at keeping going.
Nobody sees it. You've made sure of that. But you see it, in the evenings, when there's nothing left for anyone, including you.
You don't need one more tip. You need something built to fit.
Four months from now, it isn't something you have to remember.
The deadline still lands on the same afternoon as your mother's call. Your calendar still looks like a game of Tetris someone else is playing. That part doesn't change.
What changes is your body catches it before you do. Your shoulders start to climb, and you've already dropped them. Your jaw tightens on a call, and you've already let it go. Nobody on the screen can tell.
The resets fit your desk, your day, and the exact places you carry it, because they were built from those things. And by the end of the fourth month, they're part of how you work. Like checking your calendar. You don't decide to do it.
It won't make the work lighter or the phone quieter. It keeps the pressure from stacking up on you, every day, after we're done working together.
"I am naturally using the grounding and breathing techniques when I feel myself struggling to focus, whether that is from excitement or overwhelm."

"The breathing exercises have been one that has been really helpful to help me reset when needed."

The Fast Desk Calibration
Built from your answers. Then built into your routine.
The Calibration is 100 percent customized. Your resets aren't picked from a list or matched to a type. They're built for you, from what you tell me about your day, your work, and where the pressure lands in your body.
It runs four months, in two halves. The first half builds the resets. The second half makes them stick.
You fill out a detailed form.
You do it once, when you sign up.
I build your blueprint.
Your custom plan, built from your answers. Every reset comes from it.
Weeks 1 to 8
Build your resets
A 15-minute Zoom call with me every week. Each week you learn one reset built for you, and we do it together.
After every call: the video recording and an email with your action items.
Weeks 9 to 16
Make them a habit
We build this half together, around how you like to be supported. Zoom calls, text, email, or audio messages, in the mix that keeps you using your resets in real life.
"Meeting weekly so there is the accountability piece."
Alison S., on the most valuable part
What changes when the resets are built for you
- Every reset fits your actual day, your desk, and the places you carry pressure. Nothing to translate or adjust.
- You catch the tension while it's building, not after it has taken over your neck, your jaw, and your mood.
- The resets become automatic. You stop needing to remember them, because you've practiced them long enough to own them.
- You finish one thing before your inbox pulls you into the next.
- You have something left at the end of the workday for the people you go home to, even when home is down the hall.
- You keep using them after the four months end, because by then they're part of how you work.
"I do a few during the day periodically and a routine at night before falling asleep."

Your investment
The Fast Desk Calibration
Four months, one on one. A detailed intake and your custom blueprint, eight resets built for you, eight weekly calls with recordings and action-item emails, and eight weeks of habit support built around how you work best.
The four months end. The resets don't. By then they're part of how you work.

Who you'd be working with
I'm Karen. I built this because I needed it first.
In 2012, Superstorm Sandy hit. I had every tool I'd ever taught. I'd been teaching yoga for years. And under that much pressure, for that long, I couldn't reach a single one of them.
That was the loud version. The quiet version happened every day after that. I promised myself I'd get to my yoga mat. Every night, the workday ate the whole clock, and the mat moved to tomorrow, then next week. The tension didn't wait. It stacked up until my body started making the decisions for me.
What I learned is that knowing a tool isn't the same as reaching for it under pressure. That only happens when the tool fits you and you've used it enough times that your body goes there on its own.
So I took more than 20 years of teaching yoga and 25 years working inside healthcare, one of the bellies of the beast for workplace pressure, and built the Calibration around those two things: resets made for one person, and the time to make them automatic. It's not a cure for anything, and I'll never tell you it is.
"Her deep expertise in the nervous system offered a clear, empowering explanation of how her techniques work."
Joyce Valencia, Endocrine Nurse Practitioner and author
It's already stacking up.
Pressure doesn't hit all at once. It stacks. Meeting after meeting, email after email, until your body starts making decisions for you. Some days you snap. Some days you go quiet. Both times you think, why did I just do that.
The longer it runs, the more normal it feels. The break keeps getting scheduled for a future that never shows up.
Still functioning is not the same as fine.
There's no cohort to wait for. You start when you sign up. There are 10 spots in the Calibration, and every one is private, so when they're full, they're full.

Questions you might be asking
What does 100 percent customized mean?
Your resets aren't chosen from a list or matched to a type. You fill out a detailed form, I build your blueprint from your answers, and every reset comes from that blueprint.
Why four months?
Learning a reset takes a week. Reaching for it on your own, in the middle of a hard day, takes longer. The first eight weeks build your resets. The second eight make them a habit.
What happens in the second eight weeks?
We decide together. Some women want Zoom calls. Some want to text or send an audio message when something comes up. Some want a mix. We build it around how you like to be supported.
I don't have time for one more thing.
The calls are 15 minutes. Each reset takes about two minutes and happens at your desk, in the middle of the day you already have. Nothing goes on your evening or your weekend.
Will this fix my neck or my back?
No, and I won't tell you it will. It won't cure pain or fix your life. It lifts the pressure that stacks up on top of everything else, so it stops piling up all day.
Do I need a mat, special clothes, or space to move?
No. You do it in your chair, in what you're already wearing. Nobody walking past needs to know.
When do I start?
When you sign up. There's no group start date to wait for.
How does the payment plan work?
Four payments of $750, one at the start of each month. Or you can pay $2,997 in full up front.
What's the call I'm booking?
A conversation with me to make sure the Calibration fits you and your day.
Tomorrow looks a lot like today.
Same desk. Same calls. Same phone lighting up in the middle of something that matters. You can keep carrying it the way you always have. Or you can have resets built for exactly the way you carry it, and four months to make them yours.
You don't have to leave your desk for this. You just have to book the call.
10 spots. Private, one on one. Start when you sign up.
